About Us

Martin Soligian started his business in 1940 with live Christmas trees which later expanded into fresh flowers and became Martin’s Flowers. Martin had a son Robert, who came into the business in 1945 just after returning home from the Army. Robert worked alongside his father for the next 10 years until Martin’s untimely death in 1955. Robert then took over the business. In 1952, Robert had a son, Bob, who at a young age learned the family business. After college, Bob helped his father for the next 28 years. Together they ran the fresh flower business until 1980 when they expanded the business to silk flowers, plants, and trees, leaving all fresh flowers and plants behind. Robert and Bob worked alongside each other until 2002 when Robert passed away. Currently Bob and his wife Catherine and their daughter Allison have added home décor and unique furniture items to the store. They continue to carry on the family tradition that started over 70 years ago. In 2004, Martin’s went wholesale to the public, making everything at Martin’s 40% off the ticketed prices. Today Martin’s has many floral arrangements, plants, and trees, most of which are custom made at the store. Along with our large selection of everyday home décor items, we are most known for being one of the largest Christmas stores in the central valley. We have people stop in from all over to come in and see our Winter Wonderland.
